‘Halfboy: Stuart Pearson Wright’- exhibition, School of Art Gallery, 7/10-22/11/2019

In 1975 the artist was conceived by anonymous donor insemination. He has no way of discovering his father’s identity and, by extension, knowing his own. The works in this exhibition are an attempt to reconstruct his childhood in order to make some sense of this feeling of incompleteness.
