‘Picture a Dog’ – Exhibition ‘Spin offs’

The Picture a Dog-exhibition was on at the School of Art Gallery from mid-July until the end of August and again from mid-October until mid-November 2021. During that time, we asked visitors, both to the gallery and this blog, to send us pictures of their dogs to be shown alongside the show.

As you can see below, we received so many lovely images that we decided to keep this online gallery ‘live’ for everyone to enjoy beyond the actual exhibition. There is even a painting that was inspired by the show!

Would you like to see a picture of your pooch in this gallery, too? If so, please email us a photo (or print, or painting, or drawing…), his/her name, age and hobbies to: kaw25@aber.ac.uk. We won’t use your image for any other purpose.

You can also still watch the ‘Picture a Dog’ – in Victorian Times presentation below, which was part of the exhibition as well.

Welcome to ‘Picture a Dog’ – in Victorian Times

This video presentation is part of the exhibition, but we are including it here as well, so that you can enjoy it in full at your leisure. It is about 25 minutes long.
